As senior vice president and Northern California Regional Director, Brian leads strategic growth through effective business operations and an unwavering commitment to client service. With a keen understanding of the environmental industry specific to northern California and the San Francisco Bay area, Brian's solutions-oriented approach integrates sound science and creativity to provide workable client solutions.

Brian has dedicated his 30+ year career to advancing creative, enduring solutions for urban and environmental planning projects. He is a noted expert in the strategic design of CEQA documents to facilitate project planning and implementation. Brian is a skilled facilitator of public involvement programs related to major public development and infrastructure projects. His award-winning work has been recognized by the Association of Environmental Professionals and the American Planning Association.

Brian holds a Masters in Public Affairs and Urban and Regional Planning from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a certified planner by the American Planning Association’s American Institute of Certified Planners. He is a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals and the American Planning Association.
