Senior Vice President of Strategic Development

As senior vice president and director of firm-wide strategic development, Ellen executes ESA’s strategic vision by leading the implementation of our strategic plan. She drives strategic initiatives that promote integrated services, elevate client partnerships, and increase ESA’s visibility and positioning in the marketplace. She directs the firm’s growth initiatives, including revenue growth in emerging markets and geographic expansion, in part through mergers and acquisitions. Ellen’s business acumen and proven leadership are key to achieving our strategic vision.

Ellen has assisted private and public entities in developing their strategic plans, implementation, and realizing their future visions for more than 20 years. Her clients range from water agencies, public works departments to the architectural and engineering community. Her passion for creating a shared vision among diverse stakeholders and focusing a path to achieve results has helped to expand operations and businesses throughout the West Coast.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Oregon and studied at the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University. Ellen has participated in a number of professional organizations including the Society of Marketing Professional Services, American Water Works Association, Professional Environmental Marketing Association, and Association of California Water Agencies.
