Airports are economic catalysts for the communities and regions they serve. Like little cities, these complex facilities have interconnected systems thatmust work together to function effectively for airlines, passengers, commercial transport, and other stakeholders.

They must continually adapt to accommodate shifts in demand, increasingly complex regulatory environments, opportunities for sustainability and resiliency, and evolving community needs.

ESA partners with airport operators to tackle complex issues affecting the development, operation, and resilience of their facilities. Our nationwide team of aviation professionals specialize in noise management, environmental issues, planning services, and wildlife management.

Having worked with more than 200 airports across 30 U.S. states, our team has gained a strong understanding of the numerous challenges and regulations facing airports and their communities. Our extensive project experience includes preparing the Environmental Impact Statement for the reconfiguration of O’Hare International Airport and comprehensive noise studies for John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports—which continue to be among the largest and most complex studies in the history of U.S. aviation.
